Ai Lin (Shu Qi) and her sister Ai Quan (Zhao Wei) are computer hackers and espionage specialists who use their late father's advanced secret satellite technology to give them the field advantage over their enemies and the local law enforcement. At the start of the movie they assassinate the chairman of a top Chinese company.

In the aftermath of their successful mission, an intelligent Police Detective named Kong Yat Hung (Karen Mok) is assigned to their case and is able to track them down. The cat-and-mouse chase becomes more complicated when Lin and Ai Quan become the targets of the very people who originally hired them.

As Ai Quan was always the assistant on their computer at home while Ai Lin, the older and better assassin, did the field work; this was met with jealousy from Ai Quan, who wanted to do field work. Ai Quan, not knowing that Ai Lin was merely trying to protect her, believed that Ai Lin forbade her to fight and kill because she was the less adept of the two. When Ai Lin fell in love and decided to give up her life as a contract killer to marry and live a "normal" life, argument rose between the sisters - Ai Quan wanted to continue contract killing to someday prove that she could become a killer as good as her older sister.

On the day of Yat Hung and Ai Lin's birthdays (coincidentally, the same day), Ai Quan is found by Yat Hung at a bakery buying cake, which leads to a frantic car chase. Ai Quan becomes cornered by police cars and seeks help from her older sister Ai Lin, who is at home. However, at the same time, killers hired by the man who originally hired the sisters make advances on the sisters' house and Ai Lin is killed while trying to save her younger sister Ai Quan. Yat Hung is framed for Lin's death. Left with no choice, Yat Hung teams up with Ai Quan to find Lin's true killer.

The Last Hit Man (2008) DVDRip

User's Comment:
While we were not sure what we would find with this little movie, it turned out to be engrossing and enjoyable. Joe Mantegna and Elizabeth Whitmere make a believable father and daughter and, although I can't say I support their line of work, I entirely believed in their characters and what they were doing.

The film sags a little a few minutes before the end, but it does end well (an open-ended finish that makes me speculate about a possible sequel).

I'm glad we bought a copy of this, and look forward to watching it multiple times.

In the slums of Mexico City, the small time teenager thief Jorge gives a bike to his beloved sister Adriana on her thirteenth anniversary under the protest of their mother. While riding early in the morning, Adriana is kidnapped by members of an international network of sex traffickers. Meanwhile, the gorgeous Polish single mother Veronika arrives in Mexico City with a friend lured with the promise of a work in USA in a model agency by the same criminal gang. While transported to New Jersey, the two girls become friends and Veronika protects Adriana as much as she can. Meanwhile, Jorge desperately seeks his sister in the red light zone of Mexico. He witnesses children and the women being loaded as cargo in a truck and he tracks them trying to save his sister. When he arrives in Juarez, he sees the Texan investigator Ray Sheridan, who is chasing a missing daughter, in the house where his sister was lodged. He hides himself in the trunk of Ray's car and once in USA, Ray finds him and is convinced to help the boy in his quest.

I re-downloaded links #3 and # 18 because it told me they were corrupt when I first opened the rar files. This was even after my downloaders told me the files were correctly downloaded. (I used RS manager first time and JDownloader on the second download for files #3 and #18.) On the second try opening the rar files I get the links to open to the movie file. This is what I did: on rar #1 I right clicked it ->clicked open -> clicked extract to -> clicked keep broken files ->click ok. I was able to get the movie files even though it still told me #3 and #18 were corrupt) and burned it to DVD disk. When I went to burn with Nero 8 it told me that it was a corrupt file and asked me If I wanted to burn it anyway. I did and got an excellent DVD movie to play on my stand alone DVD player.
It has been my experience, and maybe yours also, that sometimes you will get a "false" corrupt read on some rar files and you have to do what I mentioned above to get the links to work. Hope I made my self understood and this helps you.
